If you contact us, we receive your name, contact details, the information in your message and any project or site details you choose to share. Please only provide information needed for your enquiry and avoid sending sensitive personal information through the website.
Cloudflare Turnstile checks help protect our enquiry form from automated submissions. These checks process technical information including IP address, browser and device signals for our legitimate interest in preventing spam and abuse. See Cloudflare’s Turnstile Privacy Addendum.
Our hosting and security services also process technical information such as IP addresses, request times, browser information and security events to deliver and protect the website. Access to the private website area uses a necessary password cookie. See our cookie policy.
We do not use this website to sign you up to marketing mailing lists. We do not sell your personal information or use it to make solely automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects.
Access is limited to people who need it for the relevant purpose. Website hosting, maintenance and security providers help operate the site, including the Plesk hosting service and Cloudflare. Microsoft 365 supports our business email. WordPress and WPForms run the enquiry form on our hosting; they are software used to process an enquiry rather than a reason to share it publicly.
Where needed for an agreed project, information may be shared with professional advisers, technical consultants, planning authorities or other project participants. We will explain relevant project disclosures when agreeing the work. We may also disclose information where required by law or necessary to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.
Technology providers may process information outside the UK. Where a restricted international transfer is involved, applicable data protection requirements must be met, for example through UK adequacy regulations or appropriate contractual safeguards. Contact us for information about the safeguards relevant to your enquiry.
We keep enquiry correspondence while we consider and respond to the enquiry and for as long as a continuing business relationship, follow-up or related dispute makes it necessary. If you appoint us, relevant correspondence becomes part of the project record and is retained according to the appointment, professional record-keeping requirements and applicable legal limitation periods.
Security logs are retained only for the operational and security purposes for which they are collected. Retention depends on the type of record, the need to investigate an incident and any legal requirement. We review information and delete or anonymise it when it is no longer needed. Contact us for the retention criteria applicable to your records.
Depending on the circumstances, you can ask for access to your personal information, correction of inaccurate information, erasure, restriction of processing or transfer of information to you or another provider. You can object to processing based on legitimate interests. If a particular use relies on consent, you can withdraw that consent without affecting earlier lawful processing.
You do not have to provide enquiry details, but without suitable contact and project information we may be unable to respond or advise. Rights are subject to legal conditions and exemptions. Please contact Hayley using the details above.
You may complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint or on 0303 123 1113. We would welcome the chance to address your concern first.
